Summit Nepal Trekking wins TAAN Cup Volleyball

Summit Nepal Trekking has won the inaugural TAAN Inter Company Volleyball Championship organised on August 27-29, at Covered Hall, Dasharath Stadium.

Summit Nepal Treks defeated Eco-Trek International by 3-1 sets to win the tournament. Similarly, TAAN Pokhara Chapter defeated Himalayan Glacier Trekking by the same score line to claim the third position. A total of 14 trekking companies had participated in the three-day event organised by Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN) with the objective of fostering friendly ties between the member companies. Of the 14 participating companies, four companies were disqualified after they failed to meet the criteria set beforehand. Hari Sitauala, co-ordinator of the event, said the event would feature as an annual event in TAAN's calendar now onwards.

The winners and runner-ups will be awarded during the annual general meeting of TAAN in the second week of September.
