Mera peak is one of the highest trekking peak in Nepal and most popular trekking peak in Everest region. Mera peak 6654m is considered one of the major and popular trekking peaks in Nepal. Mera Peak itself rises to the south of Everest. The ascent of the Mera peak is technically straightforward; however, the heavy snow and the maze of crevasses can make the way longer to the summit. Besides the charming of climbing Mera Peak, the trek to its base camp from Lukla is rewarding for experiencing little-visited and yet unspoiled region of Nepal with densely forested hill sides. There are several approaches to the base camp besides the easy and normal route, which is mentioned above. The routes crossing Amphu Lapcha (5,780m) and the Mingbo La (5,871m) are quite adventurous and rewarding for spectacular scenery but none of them are easy.

Mera Peak Climbing Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu 1334m, Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition’s representative will transfer to hotel , Mera peak climbing briefing with officially arrangements. overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to you for historical monuments sightseeing around kathmandu valley such as Bhkatapur, pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, kathmandu durbar square & Swaymbhunath(monkey temple) and prepare for the Mera peak climbing.Overnight at kathmandu..
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu / Lukla. O/N Camp.
Day 04: Trek to Chhutanga. O/N Camp.
Day 05: Trek to Tuli Kharka. O/N Camp.
Day 06: Trek to Mousum Kharka. O/N Camp.
Day 07: Trek to Tagnag. O/N Camp.
Day 08: Rest and acclimatization day at Tagnag. O/N Camp.
Day 09: Trek to Khare. O/N Camp.
Day 10: Rest day at Khare for preparation. O/N Camp.
Day 11: Trek to Mera high camp. O/N Camp.
Day 12: Climb Mera Peak and return to Khare. O/N Camp.
Day 13: Spare day for climbing in case of bad weather. O/N Camp.
Day 14: Return trek to Mousum Kharka. O/N Camp.
Day 15: Trek to Tuli Kharka. O/N Camp.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla. O/N Camp.
Day 17: Fly Lukla / Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. Relaxing or shopping with own activities than in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese Restaurant, overnight at kathmandu in Hotel .
Day 18: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities ,Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition’s representative will drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward destination.
