Kali Gandaki valley Trekking - Jomsom Kali Gandaki valley trekking The trail through the Kali Gandaki Valley has been utilised as a major trading route for centuries following the Kali Gandaki River upstream through the world’s deepest valley, through Mustang to the borders of Tibet. The trail passes from the green, fertile lowlands to the barren and dusty hillsides on the northern side of the Annapurna Mountains.

We begin our trek crossing the foothills of the Himalaya, through small farming villages, terraced hillsides, rhododendron and bamboo forests, ascending to the pass at Ghorapani. An early morning excursion to the top of Poon Hill (3193m) will provide splendid dawn views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Mountains above the Kali Gandaki valley. The route alongside the mighty Kali Gandaki River passes between the mountains of Annapurna 1 and Dhaulagiri, both over 8000 metres high. At Larjung we head off the main trail and head to the spectacular Dhaulagiri Icefall. As we continue north towards Mustang and Tibet the scenery changes dramatically, the landscape becoming much drier and the riverbed widens. At Muktinath we have time to explore the famous temple and make an excursion to the base of the Thorung La Pass. From Jomsom a spectacular mountain flight quickly returns us to Pokhara. Here we stay at the luxurious Fishtail Lodge on Phewa Tal Lake. There is time to explore Pokhara and to relax in the beautiful hotel gardens.

Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu 1334m, transfer to hotel , Kali Gandaki valley trekking briefing with officially arrangements. overnight at kathmandu..
Day 02: Katmandu to pokhara (915m) by flight or tourist bus overnight at pokhara.
Day 03: Pokhara by private vehicle drive to Nayapul than trek to Hile/Tikhedunga (1577m)
Day 04: Hile/Tikhedunga trek to Ghorepani (2810m)
Day 05: Early in the morning hike to Poon Hill 3210m for superb Himalayan scenery including the Dhaulagiri 8167m, Nilgiri 7041m, Fishtail/Machhapuchhare 6998m, Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7939m , Annapurna III7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna south 7219m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Lamjung Himal 6986m,Tukuche peak 6920m etc , breakfast at ghorepani and continue trek to Shikha (1920m).
Day 06: Shikha trek to Tatopani/Hot spring (1179m)
Day 07: Tatopani trek to Ghasa (2013m)
Day 08: Ghasa trek to Larjung (2543m)
Day 09: Larjung trek to Marpha (2676m)
Day 10: Marpha trek to Eklebhatti (2832m) & make excursion in around Kali Gandaki river.
Day 11: Eklebhatti trek to Kagbeni (2840m)
Day 12: Kagbeni trek to Muktinath Temple (3802m)
Day 13: In the morning Muktinath Temple excursion and trek to Jomsom (2713m).Overnight at Jomsom bazaar.
Day 14: Jomsom fly to Pokhara (915m).short sightseeing around pokhara valley. overnight at pokhara hotel.
Day 15: Pokhara to Katmandu by Tourist bus/Flight.
Day 16: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to for historical monuments sightseing in kathmandu valley such as Bhaktapur, Pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu durbar square and Monkey temple(swyambhunath) and in the evening farewell dinner in Restaurant, overnight at kathmandu in Hotel.
Day 17: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities than drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward journey..
